It is the enjoyment of pleasure that prompted Jean-Pierre Heintz to open his factory - and this maxim of pleasure has accompanied us as a family company for six generations now. A maxim that is inconceivable without an acute awareness of quality. We work with a natural product – a fact from which we derive the obligation to precisely know and monitor the origins and routes of our raw materials before finally processing them.
But the description of our operations would be incomplete without mentioning the people working in our company. They ensure a cosmopolitan working atmosphere, know the tastes of the people throughout the world and are flexible enough to develop products for local markets. For wherever people’s tastes are different, their enjoyment may differ, too.
The working atmosphere at Landewyck is familiar and has always been the key to our success, despite our size. Everyone knows everyone else, because a Landewyck employees doesn’t drop in for a short visit, but usually stays with us for a long time.
Patience and innovation are essential attributes which, in combination, get to the heart of the way we work. We take time to develop the right products that are perfectly tailored to the consumer. This is why we analyze and interpret trends day by day to introduce new products to our customers again and again.
Our "homemade" quality seal of approval is important to us, which is why we systematically invest in our factories and manufacture our products ourselves in our European factories. We therefore insist on production at the highest European quality standard; after all, most people like "homemade" the best.
